Fresh leaks of the Google Pixel 8a have emerged, providing a clearer glimpse into the design and color options of the upcoming device. The renders showcase the phone from various angles, offering insights into its key design elements and potential color variants.
Design and Color Options
Leaked images suggest that the Google Pixel 8a might be available in four colour options: white, dark, blue, and mint. Names like Porcelain for white, Bay for blue, and Obsidian for black will likely be added to these variants. The device is meant to draw attention to a matte wrap-up while enhancing its fashionable appeal with a touch of taste.
The renderings also depict how the SIM plate is most likely placed on the left side of the phone, with the power button and volume rockers located on the right half of the device. The device's front is seen as having visible bezels around the display in addition to a selfie camera poke hole pattern.
Camera Setup and Other Features
The Google Pixel 8a's rear panel has the distinctive Pixel camera format within a pill-shaped aperture next to the LED light. Beneath the camera configuration, the recognisable G-logo is visible, which further identifies the device. A speaker grille and USB-C port are intended to be located on the base side.
Expected Specifications
It is anticipated that the Google Pixel 8a would have a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing customers with a clear and vibrant survey view. It will most likely operate on the Pixel UI, which is based on Android 14, and will combine standard Android features with a few tweaks to the artificial intelligence and photography departments.
The device's engine may be powered by a Tensor G3 SoC, however it would be a little slower than its counterpart in the Pixel 8. It is assumed to provide 128GB and 256GB of capacity options, specifically catering to evolving customer demands. The phone may include a 4,500mAh battery that can be charged quickly (up to 27W) so that it may be used later without constantly recharging.

In terms of optics, the Google Pixel 8a is anticipated to have a 13MP ultrawide camera on the rear in addition to a 64MP primary camera with OIS. It could showcase a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies.
Although Google has not yet officially shown the Pixel 8a, a theory is that it may do so at the Google I/O 2024 event in May, when it is expected to cost about Rs 41,000. Customers are eagerly awaiting further information about this exciting addition to the Pixel setup as anticipation grows.
