Realme India, the Indian division of this leading smartphone brand, shared a post on Twitter, making an official announcement about the launch of Realme Pad 2. The company highlighted key features in the recently shared tweet, like bright colors, extraordinary visuals, and 120Hz 2K Super Display.
Flipkart has already added a product page for this Android-based tablet from Realme. As mentioned on Flipkart, the Realme Pad 2 will be available in two color options, Gray and Green, and be equipped with an 11.5-inch 120Hz 2K super display.
Despite the launch of this upcoming Realme tablet, the company also confirmed the early bird sale for its all-new Realme C53 budget smartphone. Interested buyers can book orders on July 19 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
During this early bird sale, the customers can buy a 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant after availing a Rs 1,000 discount using ICICI, HDFC, and SBI Bank cards. The discount includes the bank offer and a discount coupon of Rs 500.
The upcoming tablet from Realme, Pad 2, will likely be equipped with an 8,360mAh battery compatible with 33W fast charging. The recent rumors also indicate that the device can be powered by MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 8GB RAM, and up to 128GB storage. It's tipped to sport a USB Type-C charging port and run on Realme UI 4.0, the custom OS based on Android 13.
The Realme Pad 2 will be categorized as the successor of the previously launched Realme Pad in September 2021, featuring a slim profile with an 11.5-inch display size. The tablet is anticipated to offer both Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity options.
The previously launched Realme Pad has a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ display with 2000x12000 resolution and an 85.2% screen-to-body ratio. The tablet has a thickness of around 6.7mm and packs a single camera sensor on the rear profile with a small bump protruding.
Realme C53 has already been launched in Malaysia and will soon be available for sale in the Indian market. The budget-friendly smartphone is expected to have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. However, the company might have tweaked the camera profile for the variants to be sold out in the Indian market.
Realme C53 boasts a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with HD+ screen resolution and up to 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on octa-core Unisoc T612 SoC and allows users to expand storage up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The Indian variants of Realme C53 are tipped to feature a 108-megapixel primary camera sensor that may be coupled with a 2-megapixel secondary camera sensor. The smartphone would have a 5,000mAh battery pack capable of delivering all-day battery life on a single charge. The battery pack may also support 18W fast charging to deliver a more convenient and efficient user experience.

A new iOS bug is causing iPhones to crash when a specific sequence of four characters (""::
) is typed into certain search fields, like the Settings app or App Library. The bug triggers Apple's Springboard to crash, briefly returning users to the lock screen. While it’s an annoying issue, it poses no security risk or data loss. Tests show that the bug affects iOS 17 more severely than iOS 18. Apple has not yet addressed the issue, so users are advised to avoid typing this sequence until a fix is released.
