The availability of extra RAM enables a cushioning effect in the smartphone's performance and amplifies overall gaming and multitasking, according to company reports. The smartphone brand introduced the Genshin Impact edition of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, delivered to buyers with more customization and special packing.

This newest offering from the company can be regarded as the amalgamation of the OnePlus 11 and 11R. The smartphone gets power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, like OnePlus 11, and a triple camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens, similar to OnePlus 11R.

OnePlus has equipped Ace 2 Pro with a 6.74-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution and an in-display fingerprint reader. Its China-variant runs on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 operating system, while the global variant will likely feature OxygenOS. The smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery pack that supports 150W fast charging.

According to the sources, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be launched with the OnePlus 11T moniker in the coming months. In terms of pricing, the top-of-the-line Ace 2 Pro with 24 GB LPDDR5X RAM, which also features 1TB of UFS 4.0-based storage, is currently priced at 3,999 Yuan in China, equivalent to INR 46,079. However, the global launch date of this top-end smartphone from the company is yet to be confirmed.

A new iOS bug is causing iPhones to crash when a specific sequence of four characters (""::) is typed into certain search fields, like the Settings app or App Library. The bug triggers Apple's Springboard to crash, briefly returning users to the lock screen. While it’s an annoying issue, it poses no security risk or data loss. Tests show that the bug affects iOS 17 more severely than iOS 18. Apple has not yet addressed the issue, so users are advised to avoid typing this sequence until a fix is released.
