Numerous leaks have surfaced, revealing both its price and specifications. And now, a new report has shed light on the phone's design and battery, adding to the excitement surrounding its impending launch.

Google Pixel Fold leaked details

Design

Exciting news for tech lovers! The highly anticipated Google Pixel Fold, the company's first foldable phone, is expected to be compact and easy to handle, measuring 5.5 inches in length and 0.25 inches in width. Despite its weight being slightly heavier than the Galaxy Fold 4, it can still be comfortably held with one hand.

But the most impressive feature of the Pixel Fold is its internal display, which is said to be spacious, allowing mobile apps to be viewed in a rectangular, landscape shape. This news has me eagerly anticipating the release of the Pixel Fold and its potential to revolutionise the smartphone industry.

Battery

The Google Pixel Fold is expected to come with a larger battery compared to some of the best foldable currently available, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Oppo Find N2. Yet it is expected to be lower than 5000 mAh.

Given the current flagship from Google, the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro support fast charging,, it won't be misleading to expect that the Pixel Fold will support at least 20 W of fast charging.

Specifications (Expected)

Based on the latest media reports, it looks like the Google Pixel Fold will feature an impressive 7.6-inch display, along with an octa-core processor most likely the Tensor G2 or its next iteration, the Tensor G3 and Android 13 OS to deliver top-notch performance. And if you're a photography enthusiast, you'll be pleased to know that the phone is rumoured to boast a triple rear camera setup which should be comparable to the excellent camera setup seen in the Pixel 7 Pro.

However, it's worth noting that the Pixel Fold is expected to be slightly heavier than its Samsung counterpart, weighing in at around 263g. Nonetheless, these exciting specifications have me eagerly awaiting the Pixel Fold's release, and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Google Pixel Fold price and availability (Expected)

While there is no concrete information about the price or the release date of the Pixel Fold provided by Google, based on the leaks and rumours, the price of the phone is expected to be around Rs 1-1.5 lakhs. While the phone is expected to be launched sometime around August.

A new iOS bug is causing iPhones to crash when a specific sequence of four characters (""::) is typed into certain search fields, like the Settings app or App Library. The bug triggers Apple's Springboard to crash, briefly returning users to the lock screen. While it’s an annoying issue, it poses no security risk or data loss. Tests show that the bug affects iOS 17 more severely than iOS 18. Apple has not yet addressed the issue, so users are advised to avoid typing this sequence until a fix is released.
