Vivo launched its Vivo V50e smartphone in India on Thursday. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Vivo has provided a 5600mAh battery pack with 90W wired fast charging support. It also gets a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone is said to have IP68 and IP69 ratings to protect against dust and water splash.
Vivo V50e smartphone is launched at the starting price of Rs 28,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB onboard storage is priced at Rs 30,999. The handset is offered in Pearl White and Sapphire Blue color options. The handset will be sold via Amazon, Flipkart, and the Vivo India estore from April 17. However, Vivo has started pre-bookings for this smartphone in India.

The Vivo V50e smartphone equips a 6.77-inch FHD+ (1080x2392 pixels) quad-curved AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 1800 units of peak brightness. The handset also sports a 2160Hz PWM dimming rate, SGS low blue light certification, HDR10+ support, and Diamond Shield Glass protection.
The smartphone is powered by a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC coupled with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS2.2 onboard storage. The handset is shipped with Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15. Vivo has promised to provide three years of major OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
Vivo V50e gets a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary rear sensor with OIS and f/1.79 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with 116-degree field-to-view and f/2.2 aperture. The Aura Light feature accompanies the rear camera setup. The new Vivo V50e features a 50-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The handset is backed by a 5600mAh battery pack with 90W wired fast charging. It also gets an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is said to have IP68 and IP69 dust and water splash resistance. This smartphone from Vivo has several connectivity options, like 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, OTG, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
