Through a press release on Wednesday, Oppo announced the launch of its new K series smartphones. The all-new Oppo K13 5G is confirmed to launch in India soon. It will go on sale through Flipkart and later select stores. Oppo is said to equip this handset with a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset. The smartphone will be launched as the successor of Oppo K12, which was launched last year with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and a 5500mAh battery pack with 100W fast charging.
The Chinese smartphone brand Oppo will likely debut its K13 5G phone in India soon. While the exact dates are yet to be announced, it's confirmed that the smartphone will first hit the Indian market. The upcoming Oppo K13 offers a smooth gaming and multimedia experience with a long-lasting battery pack and fast charging support.
Flipkart has launched a dedicated microsite on its website, teasing the arrival of the Oppo K13 5G smartphone. While the specifications are not confirmed, the handset will likely receive a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset.
Additionally, Oppo has announced that the Oppo K12x has already surpassed two million sales in the country. It is said to emerge as one of the highest-selling Android smartphones during Flipkart's festive sale in 2024. The Oppo K12x was unveiled in July last year with a starting price of Rs 12,999 for its 6GB RAM + 128GB onboard storage.
However, the Oppo K12 was launched in China in September 2024 with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup. It comes with a 5500mAh battery pack with 100W SuperVOOC charging. The handset has an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP54 dust and splash protection rating.
