On the official Community website, the concept smartphone is showcased with blue pipelines on the back, which according to OnePlus, gives the impression of it having its own network of blood vessels. As hinted in a brief video clip, the blue pipelines could possibly change colors, akin to the LED lights on the back of Nothing Phone (1).
The OnePlus 11 Concept was first introduced at the Cloud 11 event earlier this month, and as the name suggests, it will be a distinct version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC-powered OnePlus 11 with a primary focus on exterior design, similar to previous OnePlus concept smartphones such as the OnePlus 8T Concept of 2020. The teaser indicates that the phone may also feature a carbon fibre exterior, which provides improved durability without adding to the overall weight.
The OnePlus 11 Concept teaser was also posted on Twitter by OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau. According to one of his tweets, the teaser suggests that the smartphone might have a quad curve display, which curves at all four edges, including the top and bottom edges, in addition to the left and right edges. This is an advanced version of the curved display, or water drop display, that is currently present in several mid-budget phones such as Realme 10 Pro Plus.
It is worth noting that the camera bump on the OnePlus 11 Concept appears to be more pronounced than the regular version, indicating that OnePlus may have made modifications to the camera department of this smartphone. For the regular version, OnePlus collaborated with Hasselblad to optimise the rear camera system.
On its official website, OnePlus has announced that five lucky community members will be given the opportunity to see the concept smartphone in person and share their findings with the global users.
