According to Ice Universe on Twitter, who has had a relatively reliable track record in the past with regard to Samsung leaks, the Galaxy Watch 6 could arrive with a curved glass design. While the source does state that Samsung will return to a curved glass design, this is probably most likely a nod to the Galaxy Watch Active series which has featured a curved display in both of its releases.
In my experience, Samsung's smartwatches are some of the best options for Android users available today. And it's no surprise, considering Samsung has been making these wearables for almost ten years now and has really honed their craft. Even though they offer a comprehensive package with their Wear OS wearables, there's always room for improvement - whether it's incorporating new technologies or refining the aesthetics.
Recently, I saw a tweet from Ice Universe, who has been pretty reliable in the past when it comes to Samsung leaks. According to them, the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 could feature a curved glass design. It's worth noting that Samsung has already included a curved display in both iterations of the Galaxy Watch Active series, so this could just be a nod in that direction. Nonetheless, it's exciting to see what Samsung has in store for their next release.
At the moment, there isn't a lot of additional information to go on, but switching to a curved display could potentially give Samsung's watches a more stylish appearance than what they currently offer. When the Google Pixel Watch came out, it didn't exactly excel in the battery life department. However, most reviewers agreed that it looked amazing. If Samsung does decide to adopt a curved design, I can't help but wonder how much the upcoming Galaxy Watch and Pixel Watch might resemble each other.
