Vivo X200 has been confirmed to launch soon in China. A company executive shared a post of a new teaser image of the Vivo X200 smartphone on social media, highlighting its design. The shared image compares the Vivo X200 Ultra's thickness with the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The successor of Vivo X100 Ultra is also confirmed to get a dedicated button for camera control available in the latest iPhone 16 series. Vivo's upcoming smartphone is expected to run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and feature a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
Vivo's product manager, Han Bo Xiao has revealed the Vivo X200 Ultra design with a post on Weibo. The handset is placed beside the iPhone 16 Pro Max in the image, highlighting its slim profile. The smartphone is reported to have a V-shaped design and a dedicated camera button on the edge for taking better-quality pictures.
Vivo X200 Ultra's camera button packs a blue strip and supports sliding gestures. It resembles a side fingerprint sensor and can be used with the thumb. With the shared image, the Vivo executive highlighted that the dedicated camera button will offer a new experience when clicking pictures or adjusting parameters in landscape mode. In all variants of the Apple iPhone 16 series, there is a dedicated camera button on the side of the mobile to access camera features easily.
Earlier this week, Vivo hinted at its upcoming X200 Ultra phone's camera capabilities and confirmed to offer Vivo V3+ chip and VX1 chip for imaging. In China, the handset is expected to launch in April this year.
The industry leaks confirm that the Vivo X200 Ultra will have a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO BOE micro-quad-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone could run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and gets a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It's also likely to have IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance certifications. This upcoming Vivo mobile can also have a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
