Google Pixel 9a was revealed in India as the latest addition to the A Series. During the launch, the brand didn’t announce the availability of this flagship smartphone but only stated that the phone would be made available from April of this year. However, Google has now announced the sale date of its Pixel 9a in India and its availability in other regions. The smartphone has a Tensor G4 processor, a dual rear camera setup, and Android 15. It also gets a refreshed design and major changes to position it as the flagship smartphone from Google to rival top offerings from Apple and other brands.

Google Pixel 9a will go on sale in India from April 16. Indian buyers can shop for this smartphone from Flipkart or retail outlets nationwide. The all-new Google Pixel 9a smartphone will be available in three color options: Obsidian, Porcelain, and Iris.

The Google Pixel 9a price in India has been kept at Rs 49,999 for the sole 8GB and 256GB variants. The brand has a 128GB variant with four color options in the US and other global markets.

The newly launched Pixel 9a smartphone has a 6.3-inch Actua pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2700 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Additionally, it offers dual SIM slots and runs on Android 15 OS with the promise of receiving seven years of software and security updates. The Pixel 9a phone features a Tensor G4 SoC with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Google has also provided a Titan M2 co-processor for enhanced security.

The rear panel has a dual-camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor. It has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Additionally, the camera setup gets various AI features like Add Me, Reimagine, Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Best Take.

Google Pixel 9a boasts a 5100mAh battery with 23W fast charging and 7.5W wireless charging support. It gets an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, and a face unlock feature. Additionally, the Pixel 9a gets 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS< and a USP Type-C 3.2 port. The smartphone offers dual stereo speakers and microphones, while it measures 154.7x73.3x8.9mm and weighs 185.9g.
