Apple is gearing up to host its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2025) in June, the Cupertino tech giant officially confirmed on Tuesday. This five-day affair will commence with a special event keynote highlighting the recent Apple software enhancement. This global conference from Apple is accessible to all developers without any extra cost, offering them access to Apple experts, new tools, and frameworks. Additionally, Apple is expected to disclose the latest versions of iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, WatchOS, and tvOS, along with several flagship launches.

In a newsroom post, Apple announced that the annual WWDC will start on June 9, and the event will be virtual, with free attendance for all developers, while the event will end on June 13. On the first day of the event, Apple will host an exclusive in-person experience at Apple Park. Developers can watch the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union and interact with Apple experts.

Additionally, the 2025 Swift Student Challenge program winners will be announced on March 27, offering winners a chance to be part of this special event at Apple Park. Apple has invited 50 distinguished winners for a three-day experience based on their outstanding submissions.

During this special event, Apple will likely introduce new software updates like iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, TVOS 19, and visionOS 3. The report claims that Apple is ready to unveil a dramatic software overhaul for its iOS, iPad, and macOS. Moreover, the iPhone and Mac operating systems are anticipated to see the biggest redesigns in the last 12 and 5 years. The upcoming OS updates can include redesigned icons, menus, and other system elements. The new generation iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16 are reportedly inspired by visionOS.
