While Xiaomi has not yet disclosed any information regarding the price, features, or launch date of the smartphone, a new leak has emerged providing details about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra launch.
My Smartprice's report suggests that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be the company's top-of-the-line smartphone and may make its global debut in the second quarter of 2023. However, no information regarding the features or price of the upcoming mobile device has been revealed in this report.
Previous reports have indicated that the design of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be reminiscent of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, featuring a DSLR camera-like lens.
Furthermore, the report notes that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will sport a quad rear camera setup featuring Leica branding at the center. Additionally, dual LED lights will also be present on the device.
It is expected that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature a 6.7-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and curved edges. The display will also have a hole-punch cutout at the top center. The phone is set to launch with Android 13 pre-installed and MIUI 14 layered on top. The device is likely to be launched in China initially, followed by other markets. To ensure smooth performance, the smartphone may feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
According to the leaked camera module design, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to come with a periscope camera and a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50-megapixel camera sensor.
The upcoming Xiaomi smartphone may feature a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Additionally, the device will come with connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C ports. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to face tough competition from rival devices by companies such as Vivo, Oppo, Realme, IQOO, and Apple in the global market.
