The company has announced the availability of its newest flagship phone, which features the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro 5G, a new flagship smartphone for the global market, is most likely to make its debut as the X40 5G. Motorola will soon announce launch details. At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in 2023, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro may be made available for purchase in all countries.
The smartphone's hardware will most likely be identical to that of the Chinese version. The phone will probably have the same design as the X40 5G, according to Appuals' leaked design renderings. The source of the tip, Sudhanshu Ambhore, has published design photos of the phone that also show its new colour options. Let's look at the Motorola Edge 40 Pro design photos, specifications, and other details that were accessible before the device's global release.
The smartphone's 6.67-inch OLED screen will most likely be Full HD+ in definition. The display will also have a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and a refresh rate of 165Hz. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm will power the Edge 40 Pro. When it debuts, it'll probably contain 256GB or 512GB of internal storage and up to 12GB of RAM. The phone's LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage are both found in the Chinese version.
Three cameras will also be present. There will be a 12-megapixel portrait lens with 2x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel primary shooter with OIS. A 60-megapixel front camera sensor will be available on the phone for selfies.
A 4,600mAh battery will power the smartphone. It will be 125W quick charging and 15W wireless charging capability. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack on the flagship device. It will be 161.3 x 73.9 x 8.5mm in size and weigh about 197 grams.
