After Google unveiled its two flagship smartphones, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, at its Made by Google event, the two phones are now available in India through Flipkart. These two Google smartphones are powered by the second-generation Tensor G2 SoC, come in three different colour options, and will receive five years of security updates.
Among the features and specs, the Pixel 7 smartphone has a 50MP dual rear camera setup, while the Pixel 7 Pro has a triple camera setup with an additional 48MP telephoto lens. These two phones come with a 10.8 MP selfie camera and are IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
The Google Pixel 7 is available in India in the only variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM for Rs 59,999. The smartphone is available in Snow, Obsidian, and Lemongrass colour options. The Google Pixel 7 is currently available at a special price of Rs 59999 with additional exchange offers if you want to replace your older phone.
The Google Pixel 7 Pro, on the other hand, costs Rs 84,999 for the sole variant with 12GB RAM and 128GB ROM. The phone has Hazel, Snow and Obsidian colour options. The Google Pixel 7 Pro is currently available at a special price of Rs 69999 with additional exchange offers if you want to replace your older phone.
The duration of the special offers is not specified. Moreover, Flipkart is also offering no cost EMI options for the two devices with the Pixel 7’s no cost EMI starting from Rs 10000 per month whereas the Pixel 7 Pro’s no cost EMI starts from Rs 14167 per month.
The Google Pixel 7 has a 6.3-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, while the Pixel 7 Pro has a 6.7-inch QHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro comes with Android 13 running out of the box, the latest version of Google's Android operating system. the Pixel devices are powered by the custom made Google Tensor SoC.
“It’s fast, smart and secure. Plus, the fresh new style and customisation capabilities make it feel unique to each user. Users can recolour the look of their app icons to match the aesthetic of their phone’s wallpaper, and even assign specific languages to individual apps,” the company said in a statement.
The Google Pixel 7 also has a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The Google Pixel 7 Pro includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 48MP telephoto lens.
The smartphones can also use Super Res Zoom technology to extend the camera range up to 8x on the Pixel 7 and up to 30x on the Pixel 7 Pro.
The Goole Pixel 7 Pro is equipped with macro focus, from a distance of just 3 cm it achieves Pixel HDR + photo quality. Moreover, the video on this phone has been upgraded to the latest 10-bit HDR.
